There are many reasons someone may seek counseling. You might be carrying stress, anxiety, grief, or relationship struggles that feel too heavy to manage on your own. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood, so you can work through these challenges at your own pace.

Accepting New Clients. Is your teen struggling? It’s hard to be a teen in todays world. They are managing stress, anxiety, motivation, self esteem, and relationships. Sometimes having an outside perspective can help. Helping teens with strategies to help with these important issues is a passion of mine. I also know how important the relationship is between teens and their families. As a parent of two grown children, I know how important this connection is and how challenging it can be as our children become teens.

You've probably achieved external success, hitting all the internal and external milestones, ahead of schedule and with distinction, but internally you’re exhausted, on edge, or stuck in patterns you can’t think your way out of. Many of my clients are professionals in demanding roles in public service, law, healthcare, military, and executive leadership. Folks who are infinitely capable and quietly overwhelmed. I provide body-based, deeply attuned, trauma-informed therapy for people who have tried talk therapy and need something that works at a deeper level, beyond rationalizations.

My clients to this day come from various backgrounds and ages (20 to 94 years old). The older set of patients I see, often feeling alone or 'invisible' relish their time to feel validated. French speaking patients like to be able to speak their native language in a safe environment alongside other ethnic groups. My new patients are often referred to me by long term existing patients as well as other providers in law enforcement and courts.

I will be on maternity leave mid June through October 5, 2026. Therapy is about finding healing - it is a space for rectifying our past with our present. What happened before with who we are today. When that reconciliation happens, we find healing and begin to walk in freedom. My purpose is to help you do exactly that. And it starts with you feeling seen and known. When you walk into my office, you will find a welcoming, safe, relaxed environment, and, hopefully, you will feel at home. As your therapist, my goal will be to help you navigate how to walk in true authenticity towards who you are meant to be.

I'm open to clients from all walks of life but I specialize in culturally-sensitive and culturally-adaptive techniques regarding migrant & refugee issues, first-gen Americans, family and domestic violence, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I could throw a lot of buzzwords at you about holistic care, mindfulness, and wellness but you've likely read enough of that by the time you've gotten here. So I'd rather be honest: In a world that feels so unauthentic right now, I strive to provide a space where you can speak freely and process what is going on with you and around you. I am a firm believer everyone is the master of their own experience, and therapy can be used as a tool to focus on changes you want to make and help you cope with it all. My goal is for you to show up each session willing to dive deep and make those shifts.

In life, we all break down sometimes. There are moments when we need to pause and take care of ourselves. But that doesn’t mean we’ve lost our true value or who we really are. That part of us is still there. It may have just been hidden for a while. I hope to support people who want to reconnect with that part of themselves. Even if it takes time, that is okay. Your true colors can shine again.

Coercive control and narcissistic abuse rewire how you see yourself, until your own judgment feels unreliable.
Together we rebuild trust in your own perception, untangle the patterns you keep repeating, and move forward with clarity. My work sits where counseling, forensic evaluation, and family mediation meet, so I understand both the inner recovery and the legal terrain survivors often cross. You are not broken. You are patterned, and patterns can change.

Are you the one everyone counts on—The good child/spouse/parent? The dependable one. The strong one. The one who keeps everything running. From the outside, your life may look stable, responsible, even admirable. You handle things. You show up. You take care of everyone else. But inside, you might feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or quietly disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’ve noticed you’re repeating the same painful patterns in your relationships—the same arguments, the same reactions, the same dynamics that once hurt you—and you find yourself asking, Why do I keep doing this? without knowing how to change it.

Domestic Abuse Therapists
What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?
Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.

When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?
Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.

What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?
Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.

How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?
It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
