Therapy is a journey of self-exploration that is unique to each individual. The counselor’s role is not to provide all the answers, but to offer tools, perspectives, and insights that can help you gain self-awareness and explore new ways of thinking and coping. There may be some detours along the way, which are opportunities for learning and growth. As the journey continues, you gain new perspectives and build skills to help empower you to manage your emotions and challenges. So you are never truly alone in your journey of self-discovery and healing.

I blend the practicality of CBT, ACT and DBT with the depth of Relational Therapy, IFS and mindfulness-based therapies.
I specialize in providing neurodiversity-affirming care to adolescents, adults, parents, and families. While I also support neurotypical clients, my passion and expertise lie in supporting those with Autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders, as well as anyone who has struggled to feel like they truly “fit” within their school, workplace, or personal relationships. I support individuals through social challenges, workplace transitions, and identity exploration. If you feel isolated, burned out, or have a desire to stop “masking,” I’m here to help.

I incorporate mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I focus on providing a safe, secure non-judgmental space for healing and wholeness. I can help you move forward through anxiety, sadness, "stuck" relationships, or past issues that keep getting in the way. Maybe you're highly successful in most areas or a perfectionist, yet internally you often feel alone and struggle to keep it all together. Perhaps you have no one you trust who is truly there for you. My goal is helping you heal and grow so you can have the relationships and life you were made for.

This is a hard time full of fear, hopelessness, and anxiety. Sometimes we get stuck and need someone outside our circle to help us figure things out. I help people to more deeply understand and change negative or addictive behaviors that are dramatically impacting their lives. Relationships can be complicated, and trying to find different ways to communicate can feel like a mystery. I work with people struggling with addictions, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, compassionate environment where we will work together to explore areas that are causing pain, and we will find new ways to cope.

Most people don't show up to therapy because life is great. You’re not alone. Maybe it's the growing conflict with your partner, the anxiety your teenager can't name, the version of your own life you didn't sign up for, or any number of other challenges. Then again, it’s possible nothing is broken – you just want to chart a path to your desired future, start a marriage with a strong foundation, or improve on existing strengths as a parent. There’s no magic formula for any of it, which is why I offer tailored telehealth support to meet your needs via individual therapy, couples and family work, premarital counseling or life coaching.

Real change doesn’t come from perfect plans or polished presentations. It happens in quiet, human moments—when someone feels safe enough to say, “This isn’t working anymore.” I work to honor those moments. To offer a grounded, compassionate space where we can explore: What’s been passed down, What’s been avoided, And what’s finally ready to shift? If you’re feeling stretched thin, stuck in a cycle, or simply sensing that something within you is ready to change, remember: this is your journey, and you are in control. This is a space to slow down and listen. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You have to be willing to begin.

Begining therapy—whether for yourself, your relationship, or your family—can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, disconnection, or old patterns feel hard to shift. Reaching out takes courage, and that courage is already part of the healing. You’ll find a warm, collaborative space grounded in the belief that you are inherently whole and worthy. I help individuals, couples, and families heal relational wounds, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their core self. My integrative approach includes Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (parts work), CBT , Mindfulness, and a somatic approach.

I utilize a variety of approaches to meet your individual needs, including acceptance and commitment therapy ( ACT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I work with adults and adolescents to create lasting change by increasing self-awareness and identifying barriers to personal growth. I strive to create a genuine, empathic, collaborative environment where you can safely explore difficult topics, gain insight into yourself, and build upon your intrinsic strengths to make the changes you want to make. I also aim to help you identify outdated patterns of thinking and behavior that no longer serve you and choose alternatives that are in line with your goals.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
