My target market are Men and Women, ages 14-99, Military and Civilian. I enjoy working with African-American and Latino American women. As an LCSW with over 20 years experience, I have a plethora of experience counseling clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, self-esteem, relational conflict, etc. I use words life "Different" not "Disorder" when speaking to my clients. Different is not disorder. Emotional pain is not disorder. These are aspects of being human. I describe human experience in all its variety by trying to help those who are suffering and helping them work through their pain without stigma.
Hi, my name is Cameron. I’m looking forward to helping you work through the things that bring you to therapy. I approach the work that I do with the belief that the relationship we create is a critical component in helping you succeed in therapy. I believe we all have the ability to work through challenging things in our life. I create an environment that is open, caring, and accepting so you are able to do just that.
Being held back in life by "stinking thinking" and trying to manage anxiety, depression, phobias, and/or eating disorder behaviors is the part of being human we're not taught and probably all of us don't want. As human beings, however, we don't have to struggle; we can learn to let it go. I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with the aforementioned and help them find new ways of living, discover their true selves, and live the life their true self wants.

I think it safe to say you're seeking assistance with certain challenges in your life. What all of my clients have in common is a desire to be self-reflective (even though this may be scary), to learn more about themselves at a deeper (unconscious) level, and to grow in ways that allow them to have the life and relationships for which their hearts yearn. Psychotherapy is a process of learning to listen to, care for and heal the pained parts of ourselves that burden our mind, body, heart and spirit. Including the body in this process is essential, as it carries our pain until we learn how to engage the brain and body to release our burdens. This is not always easy, but is certainly self-empowering and life-changing.
Sometimes life brings you challenges that may wear you down and keep you standing still. You want to move forward but, you just can't seem to take that first step. You might be experiencing an array of emotions such as anxiety, fear, depression, or low self esteem that have become too heavy and overwhelming to handle on your own. This is where the counseling process may help find the hope, strength, and courage needed to motivate you to move in right direction.
