Our mission is "To empower individuals, couples, and families to break free from the chains that bind them, in order to create present and multi-generational changes that last forever. Indelible means that which cannot be undone; permanent." Everyone needs some extra support in their lives, at times, to work through difficult situations and complex feelings. Working collaboratively with my clients, we create action plans to get their lives back on track, while enabling them to embrace the strength to find their way forward to a meaningful future they are excited about.

I work with couples and individuals who feel stuck in painful cycles of disconnection, even when there's love underneath. You may be having the same arguments on repeat, feeling more like roommates than partners, or struggling with mismatched desire and unmet emotional needs. Often, one partner asks for more while the other feels overwhelmed or shuts down—not because they don't care, but because they feel lost about how to fix it. Whether you're coming in together or on your own, we work to understand the deeper patterns driving your relationship dynamics. My approach helps you slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath.

Events such as marriage, births, death, change in health, and divorce can bring up unexpected emotions that may be difficult to navigate.
I aim to create a safe space where you won't feel judged, feel obligated to "fix it" or have the answers. It is okay to not be okay. Compassionate, empathetic expertise with realness is what you can expect when we work together. I use trauma informed care and effective treatments to include EMDR, systems approach and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who often carry significant responsibilities in their personal or professional lives. From the outside, they may appear to have things together, yet internally they may feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they can’t quite shift. Some are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, past trauma, or chronic stress, while others simply recognize that the ways they have been coping are no longer serving them. They want greater clarity, balance, emotional relief, and a stronger sense of themselves.

I counsel individual adults (including young adults) who are embarking on new adventures or life transitions, including divorce or job and career changes.
You’re sick of feeling stuck, sad and stressed, not getting enough sleep because you stay awake worrying. At the expense of your own needs, you give so much to others and feel pulled into different directions at once. You're not even sure if you know who you are anymore. Your adventurous spirit is calling you to take some bold leaps and make some giant changes, but the thought of doing so causes anxiety, and this holds you back. There’s no award for going it alone. Let’s do it together! I’m here to help you stay true to yourself, pursue your passions, and leap into the unknown with the knowing that it will be 100% worth it.

Usually, my clients seek therapy and counseling after struggling with challenges for months and sometimes years. Over time, these same challenges create new concerns. Albert Einstein wrote that " we can't solve today's problems with the mentality that created them" With this in mind, it is better to seek professional services and resources: Recognizing you're not alone in this healing process.

You may find yourself people-pleasing, withdrawing, overfunctioning, or longing for closeness, unsure how to truly let someone in. You may be experiencing anxiety that never settles, pain that lingers, or relationship patterns that keep repeating, no matter how hard you try to change them. These struggles aren't failures, but ways you learned to survive when connection felt uncertain, needs went unmet, or emotions felt too big to experience alone. The strategies that once protected you, or got you the crumbs of what you needed, may now leave you feeling stuck, exhausted, and far from the closeness, compassion, and calm you long for.

Divorce Therapists
How does therapy for people affected by a divorce work?
Individuals may feel a number of emotions following a divorce, such as shock, guilt, grief, anger, and fear. Therapists offer a non-judgmental space for individuals to talk about what they’ve experienced and process their emotions. Therapists will help clients develop coping strategies. They can also help a client rebuild their sense of self and self-worth and talk about what a happier future might look like.

What’s the most common type of therapy following a divorce?
There are several types of therapy that may be useful for divorce, including cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused brief, and mindfulness-based therapies. Many therapy types are talk-therapy based, which is typically the most popular option for individuals dealing with divorce. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a widely-used talk therapy, however, there’s no specific therapy type that’s designed to help people with divorce, and different types will work depending on the person.

When should an individual seek help due to a divorce?
When the feelings of a divorced individual, or an individual going through the process of divorce, begin to disrupt healthy daily functioning, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not performing at work due to problems with anxiety or motivation, if they’re no longer seeing friends due to feelings of shame, or if they’re not properly taking care of themselves as a result of depression, speaking to a professional could help.

How do you encourage someone to go to therapy due to a divorce?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the individual while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Sharing how the individual appears to be suffering, and what effects it has on them or on their children, should be done with compassion and empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
