You might be feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who you are in the midst of it all. Therapy with me isn’t about slapping on a band-aid or pushing toxic positivity. It’s about slowing down, asking deeper questions, and creating space for the version of you that is emerging. Whether you're navigating relationships, identity shifts, or just trying to feel like yourself again—I’m here to walk with you. My approach is rooted in attachment theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, and the belief that you decide what your healing looks like.

We are all on a path toward self-discovery, searching for our unique, personal destiny and life purpose. When we fall short of realizing happiness and peace within the American dream, we begin to lose hope and become anxious or depressed. As such, I offer therapy based on my mission statement: Changing Your Life By Engaging Your Soul! Human beings are so much more than a mere mind and body. Somehow our spirit, our soul, has lost its place in our society and in our psychology. I seek to reintroduce deeper meaning to everyday living by invigorating your spiritual energy.

I support individuals and couples to rebuild self-worth, trust, and connection.
Finding your way back to our partner or yourself can be a difficult journey, one that asks you to connect with feelings not yet resolved, wounds not yet healed, and needs not yet voiced. When your needs for comfort, validation, protection, and connection are not met in your relationships, you can be vulnerable to feeling unworthy, unsafe, and unseen. I specialize in attachment and the protective strategies we all have for managing stress, conflict, and disconnection. You may move towards others, hoping that if we fight loud, long, or hard enough, our pain and anger will eventually be acknowledged.

Through evidence-based therapies and a client-centered approach, I help women build resilience, enhance self-esteem, and cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and others.
If you’re a woman who feels exhausted by your past, overwhelmed by change, or stuck in patterns of stress and self-doubt, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. We will create a space that feels safe, supportive and deeply collaborative. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll build on your existing strengths and help you shift from seeking validation outside of yourself to feeling more secure and confident from within. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with your own needs, values, and desires, so you can create a life that feels more fulfilling, balanced, and truly your own.

To be seen and known by others is an incredible feeling of connection but it means being authentic and vulnerable. Sadly, we live in a time with the illusion of connection while being more disconnected than ever. You may feel disconnected from others and even from yourself. Though you are a gift to this world, it is often blocked and unexpressed. This may leave you feeling alone and invisible. The truth is, you may be starving for deeper connection and that starvation looks like depression, anxiety, stress, and more. When you are living disconnected, you are abandoning yourself.

Issues I Commonly Support: Trauma and trauma recovery, Boundary setting and people-pleasing, Low self-confidence and self-trust, Fear of disapproval or being misunderstood, Difficulty expressing needs and emotions, Identity exploration and self-alignment
Life can feel really overwhelming, especially when you've learned to survive by being agreeable, accommodating, or putting others first. I am here to tell you that you don't have to keep choosing yourself last. Many of the people I work with are kind, thoughtful, and capable, yet feel worn down by patterns of being misunderstood, taken advantage of, or disconnected from their own needs. You may feel like your niceness has been mistaken for weakness, or that parts of who you truly are had to stay hidden to stay safe.

Self Esteem Therapists
When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?
When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?
Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?
Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?
Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
