Welcome. My goal is to get you where you want to be. Calmer, happier, relief, a better relationship, standing on the beach with the sun in your hair (well not actually, but I can teach you a great grounding exercise so when you need a minute or two on the "beach" it can be available to you). Supportive counseling and resources are my specialty. With diverse life experiences and constantly reading for good ideas, I am able to provide a dynamic experience that will move you towards contentment, peace, and even perhaps the elusive state of happiness.

I strive to help individuals examine and remove the challenges that are causing them difficulties in their day-to-day lives and relationships. Current challenges may be due to earlier experiences that are continuing to contribute to unhelpful patterns of interactions and reactions. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach to help clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other “stuck” negative thoughts and feelings; I see therapy as a collaborative process for gaining tools and moving forward toward more positive experiences.

My ideal client is an individual who realizes they are navigating a season of change and everything feels heavier than it should. Maybe anxiety shows up as constant overthinking or tight chest that just won’t go away. Maybe you’ve been feeling low, unmotivated, or like you’re just going through the motions. You may be juggling a career, relationships, and caring for others while quietly wondering, “What about me?” Whether you’re adjusting to a new role, grieving an old one, or simply feeling lost in the in-between, you don’t have to do it alone.
