Trauma shapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world, but it does not define who we are. Healing is possible, and it begins with understanding that struggle does not diminish worth. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, social anxiety, and more—helping them navigate their experiences with compassion and a deep belief in their resilience. My approach goes beyond symptom management; it focuses on reconnecting people with their inner strengths. Healing is not a straight path, but it is a journey worth taking, and I aim to walk alongside my clients with warmth, encouragement, and unwavering support.

We have all experienced some hard things in our lives. But sometimes that stuff just kind of gets stuck and ends up showing up in our day-to-day lives as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, addictions, or whatever it may be. I would love to help you weed out that old stuff so you can show up and feel more present and alive in the life you are living!

Hello! I think it’s wonderful that you’re looking for a therapist. To help you decide if you want to reach out, I’ll give you a run-down on my style: I’m not just going to sit and nod at you while you pour your heart out to me. I’m here to hear you without judgement, feel with you, laugh with you, and metaphorically hold your hand on your journey (I know corny, but true). I will follow you where you want to go, and I can gently push you if that’s what you think you need. I'm not going to put you in boxes or "fix" you. I'll see you as human being who is whole as you are, and capable of growth.

Does this sound like you? You’re a woman trying to hold everything together after divorce or betrayal, but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure how to move forward. You replay conversations. You question yourself. You wonder how things got here, and how to feel like you again. Or, you might be a teenager feeling pressure from school and relationships. A parent carrying more than you can hold. Or a couple who loves each other but feels stuck in the same frustrating patterns. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you move through what feels stuck.

I use a blend of CBT, mindfulness, ERP, and IFS.
No "off" switch in your brain, right? I specialize in anxiety and OCD, including intrusive thoughts, rumination, and sneaky mental loops that keep you stuck. Your mind replays conversations, double-checks everything, ruminates on the worst-case scenarios. You've got an inner critic that ranges from kind of rude to downright cruel. You even know you're overthinking but can't seem to stop! You are the responsible one, the thoughtful one (which you like to be!), but all too often it turns into overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling "out of control". You've worked on it on your own but nothing seems to help for long.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
