I am trauma trained and informed (ART, EMDR, Flash method, IFS) and approach therapy from an integrative and experiential standpoint. “If we climb high enough, we will reach a height from which tragedy ceases to look tragic.” (Yalom).

BREATHE. CONNECT. TRUST. I arrived at this mantra when I thought about what I could "gift" to a client to carry with them on a daily basis. BREATHE: take 3 deep breaths and consider what you need to do at this moment - CONNECT: Reach out- to a close family member or friend or therapist and share your feelings TRUST: trust the process- you are feeling this and sharing these feelings for a reason, trust yourself.

I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) for large-scale or small-scale trauma. I use a holistic approach, focusing on the mind+body connection. I dip into other therapeutic modalities, depending on what is relevant to you.

My passions as a counselor include helping teens struggling with anxiety and depression, improve motivation with school, helping emerging adults transition into adulthood, pre-marital counseling to help couples establish a strong foundation, and resolving family conflict.

Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I specialize in Women's Health and am social justice oriented. I have experience working with families, veterans, hospice patients and their families, trauma, the houseless population, folks experiencing discrimination, on the behavioral health unit, and the birthing population. I am specialty trained in Perinatal Mental Health. I love working with folks who are feeling at their lowest and accompanying them back to solid ground.
