I have a masters in counseling and I am a certified life coach.
Are you feeling stuck, like you aren't enough, or can't seem to change? I provide a safe non-judgmental atmosphere in which my clients come to understand, reframe, and transform their limiting beliefs. My clients are routinely surprised by how quickly they see positive change, in themselves and their situation. They often express this in comments like, “I’ve been working on this for years. I can’t understand how I’ve made so much progress so quickly.” Experiences like this result from identifying and transforming core barriers using an innovative combination of time-tested tools and approaches.

We continue in this process, making any adjustments, till we achieve our "healthier life"!
I particularly work with people that are depressed or anxious and have lost hope; desperately seeking answers and peace. Many of these extreme emotions are interrelated to either current or past family relationships. I specialize in family relationships, grief counseling, and personally managing our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

You yearn to feel grounded, connected, and in love with your life no matter what happens outside of you.
Many of my clients come from religious or relational backgrounds that taught them to mistrust their own deep knowing. I combine trauma-informed clinical training with intuitive and somatic practices. I support those healing from religious conditioning, sexual disconnection, and relational trauma to feel at home in their bodies and alive to their pleasure.

You don't have to spend your entire life in therapy.
The reason your marriage feels hopeless is only because you don't have the complete strategy yet. There's a scientifically proven way to handle conflict and reconnect. Many couples like to avoid conflict altogether and the result is that problems don't get solved and hidden resentment drives people apart. I will teach you what you never learned in school about how to make your marriage a source of greater joy and less stress. I help people find their voice and learn how to share it in a loving way to solve problems. I help couples with a variety of things beyond communication like infidelity and addictions, including pornography.

Relationships are the purpose and joy of life.
I approach therapy through an attachment science perspective - everything we do is motivated by our relationships, because humans are wired for connection. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients create safe and secure connections with themselves and others.

I think of someone who knows what they are ready to look at for change in their life.
As a therapist who has been practicing for over 20 years with the IDD and autism spectrum population. The transition to psychotherapy was smooth and effortless. I meet the identified client and family where they are at, help them along a journey of self-discovery, teaching skills using a multitude of techniques and practices because it isn't cookie cutter.

When people experience life stressors, life changes, and/or trauma they often find themselves lost and looking for relief.
I have an understanding that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. I have been trained in many evidenced-based techniques, including. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC), and Behaviorism.

I’ll support and encourage you as you work towards positive changes that align with your life goals, even when faced with challenging emotions or experiences.
Believing in yourself isn’t easy, but having a supportive cheering section makes a difference! Working with teenagers, young adults, couples, and families to nurture self-compassion, foster personal growth, and shift negative patterns creates positive change. While anxiety and depression may seem ever-present, they can become sources of inner strength. Your story matters, and together, we can discover and live your values, forging the path toward the person you aspire to be. It’s NOT always easy to believe in yourself, identify and live true to your values, and blaze the path forward.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
