I managed LDS Family Services for 13 years and loved directing the 12-step Addiction Recovery Program in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. I've been recruited by multiple residential treatment centers, a hospital, a skilled nursing facility, and by an IOP program assessing and treating substance abuse and domestic violence.

My personal devotion to this work comes from my own struggles with addiction and mental health issues. I have always seen the best in people and sometimes their best gets lost in a difficult world, and with each decision it seems to push them further away from who they truly are.

Most people would rather hide from change than embrace it. When we do, unseen opportunities aren’t realized. Ryan Landstedt is a CSAT through IITAP, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified in Betrayal Trauma, EMDR II trained, and trained in the Treatment of Grief. ** Accepting new clients** Negative emotions can feel like a huge burden, like we are in an emotional prison. We can feel like there is no way to escape the hurt and pain we feel, like it's just how it's going to be. You may be suffering from emotions that are keeping you from feeling whole, like the person you deeply want to be. People hurt because a belief or a life condition is occurring that the individual does not have a solution for. This is where I can help. I have learned through years of counseling experience how to help people become free from their emotional burdens and become the master of their own lives.

Each relationship's story has successes and struggles. I believe some of the most powerful personal healing happens in relationships since many wounds (e.g., mental, emotional, attachment, etc.) are also rooted in relationships. My efforts focus on accessing that healing by exploring underlying beliefs, wounds, and fears that get in the way of you feeling connected with yourself, your partner/spouse, and others in your life.

As a therapist, I focus on creating a safe environment for clients to learn about themselves and their relationships. Our typical clients are those with issues of sexual dysfunction. This includes those with issues of sexual desire, arousal, orgasm, pain, satisfaction, or out-of-control sexual behavior/ addiction . Most of my clients are from a conservative religious background, but this is not a must. We see clients that have a range of personal beliefs and values. We meet regularly with individuals and couples. Meeting as a couple is not a must. Individuals dealing with sexual dysfunction or out-of-control sexual behavior/ addiction that are not in a committed relationship are also welcomed in treatment. We also have a Spanish speaking therapist.
