Life has a way of opening us to both wonder and hardship. There are moments when everything feels bright and steady, and moments when the ground shifts beneath us — when emotions feel heavy, old wounds resurface, or the meaning we once carried begins to blur. In those times, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed, shaken, or unsure of how to move forward. And yet, I believe those moments are also invitations: signals from within that something in you is ready to be seen, understood, and healed. When you come to therapy, I see a person with a story, a history, and a depth that deserves care.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in providing therapeutic counseling in end-of-life situations. Through personal and professional experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families with declining loved ones. One day, I received a call from my dad letting me know that my mom could not move, and he needed help. When I arrived, she was on the floor crying extremely confused. My dad and I got her into the car, and to the hospital, which she was diagnosed with a stroke. They told me that when she would be stable she would need to go to a skilled nursing faciltiy.

Immediate openings! Maybe other’s think you're doing fine, because on the outside, that's how it looks. You are good at keeping it together and taking care of everyone around you, but underneath you’re exhausted and overwhelmed. Maybe you grew up in a chaotic or unpredictable home, or maybe you've had a recent experience that still feels heavy. Engaging in your day to day life, in all your different roles and in the ways you want, is possible and it doesn't always have to feel the way it does right now. I specialize in working with adults who are ready to stop surviving silently and shift into authentic, values-aligned living.

I am trained in EMDR, ART, Theraplay, Play therapy, TF-CBT, Jungian/experiential therapy, and other modalities, meaning I have training in trauma, family work, attachment, and more.
In life, difficult situations occur. These experiences can make us anxious, question ourselves and our self-worth, and affect our ability to connect with others and plan for the future we desire. Through EMDR, ART, and a mix of other empirically based modalities, it is possible to heal from past trauma, feel more empowered, and increase life satisfaction generally. I have been in the field for twenty years and a therapist for sixteen years. I have also been an administrator, supervisor, and trainer for therapists. During that time, I have come to appreciate how change is possible in our lives and in our relationships with others.

The life path of an adopted person is unlike any other. Specialized support is often essential for navigating the unique impacts and meanings that relinquishment and adoption hold for adoptees and those connected to them, past and present. As an adoption-competent therapist, I understand the complex hurts and challenges of adoptees and their families, and provide tools and support needed for honest conversations, healing from loss, and forming close, attuned relationships. Adoptive parents who seek support early can reduce the need for more complex interventions later on. As you integrate the truth of your story, you can heal.

Hi, my name is Spencer, thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my profile. Finding the right therapist can be tricky at times. Here's a bit about myself to help you see if we'd be a good fit. My main goal as a therapist is to help others live in congruence with themselves. I believe peace comes and shame is reduced when one is aligned with their personal values. A lot of different events can push us out of alignment, and therapy is great at getting us back on track. Areas I spend a lot of time in are: self esteem, substance abuse, relationships, men's/women's issues, life transitions, anxiety/depression.

It can be confusing to understand why you may feel a certain way, especially when feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Oftentimes symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and traits of living with ADHD or Autism can overlap, making it difficult to know how to move forward from the hurt you're experiencing. Feelings of low self-worth and shame creep in and can oftentimes lead to problems in life and relationships. Whether you are seeking relief from ongoing stress, hurt, trauma, anxiety, or you just need extra support through a difficult time, my goal is for you to feel empowered and find the quality of life you are looking for.

Whether it be mental health issues, trauma, addiction or anything else that causes us to feel lack of control in our lives, it is incredibly isolating. Unfortunately, isolation causes all of those issues to just get worse and worse; and we seem to lose ourselves along the way. It is demoralizing to look at our lives and feel like our true selves are just out of reach. When this occurs, we can’t help but look in the mirror and just feel broken or, at the very least, desperate for change. While working with me you will experience the healing power of connection, and an opportunity to fully examine yourself without judgment.

The clients I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and emotionally deep, yet still feel shaped by past trauma or patterns they can’t seem to break. On the outside they may look put together, but inwardly, they find themselves overthinking, feeling disconnected from their authentic self, or longing for a deeper sense of peace. I specialize in helping clients heal the lasting impact of trauma and reconnect with their inner wisdom. In our work together, I offer a trauma-informed, grounded, compassionate space where you can safely process old wounds, and begin to feel more whole, embodied, and at home within yourself.

Hi there! My name is Jake, I am a neurodivergent counselor who is passionate about working with my patients through a neurodivergent-affirming lens. I believe that, while living in a world designed for and by neurotypical people can be an intensely painful and difficult experience, that doesn't mean that there is anything "wrong" or "bad" about you as a person. Neurodivergent-affirming care means helping individuals navigate life with neurodivergency (learning ways to cope, strategies to manage, and building key life skills) while also working through the strengths inherently present within neurodiverse individuals.

I'm as comfortable working with a client feeling mildly stuck as one who is in unrelenting crisis. I have many years of experience working with clients with complex trauma, grief, BPD, depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, existential and faith struggles, and life changes. Clients that I work with find clarity regarding their deepest values and confidence in living in the present. They heal and grow. I believe in the ability for humans to transform and change and to make healthy change in the world around them. I believe deep acceptance and self-compassion are very important to these processes.

Hi, I’m Jenn. I work with individuals who are used to holding it all together—but underneath, something isn’t working. You may feel stuck in patterns, struggle with trust after betrayal, feel out of control with food/body, or carry the weight of past experiences or loss that hasn’t fully resolved. On the outside life looks stable; internally, it feels exhausting & overwhelming. Grief can show up in many ways—not only after the loss of a loved one, but through the loss of relationships, trust, identity, or the life you expected to have. It can feel heavy, isolating, and difficult to move through on your own. You may understand whats

The challenges we face as individuals, as a community, and as a society can have a profound impact on the way we view the world, ourselves and others. Exposure to multiple adverse life experiences over time (experienced directly or in anticipation of adverse experiences) can progressively increase symptoms of anxiety, depression, clinical, and sub-clinical PTSD and even impact the state and health of our bodies. Adverse life experiences are often stored in the body and can be coded to our DNA. Somatic forms of therapy such as EMDR and Brainspotting help to adjust this lens by integrating and fully reprocessing adverse experiences.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
