I have a passion for helping those struggling with growing their family, whether it be through pregnancy loss or infertility.
Sometimes life's experiences can make it hard to find satisfaction in our lives and relationships. We might feel stuck in not knowing how to feel better or how to move forward. However, understanding our thoughts, feelings and behaviors often helps us learn how to build connections and increase joy in our lives. Together, we can work to create solutions to overcome barriers to your progress, and find the satisfaction you are seeking.

As a PhD marriage and family therapist, I have successfully helped couples, families, individuals and college students find happiness in life. I believe everyone has the power to change. However, we often get stuck. Over the years I have participated in peoples amazing transformations as they become unstuck and learn how to be happy, have healthy relationships, overcome trials and other problems. I've found that everyone I've met with in therapy can change and be happy if they want to. Morning, day and evening sessions available.

Bringing a baby into the world is often described as joyful and fulfilling—but for many parents, the reality is far more complicated. You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you’re struggling with scary thoughts, sleepless nights, or the weight of expectations that don’t match your lived experience. Past traumas or current challenges can feel magnified during pregnancy or postpartum, leaving you exhausted and uncertain about where to turn. You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry this by yourself.

I provide online therapy for adults (with a focus on women) healing from trauma, addiction, grief, and the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. You’ve learned to survive, but now you want to thrive. I help clients who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them: addiction or unhealthy coping, toxic relationships, perfectionism. Many are navigating significant life transitions—processing trauma, rebuilding after loss, pursuing sobriety, or adjusting to parenthood. I currently work with incarcerated women in recovery which has deeply shaped my approach as a therapist.

Over my 17 years as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I’ve worked in various settings, supporting both adolescents and adults. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a commitment to providing personalized care. I use techniques like CBT, DBT, and experiential therapy to help clients navigate their healing journeys. My goal is to offer a safe space to heal.

You might be feeling disconnected from someone you love—or from yourself. Maybe you're stuck in patterns that leave you exhausted, anxious, or uncertain about the future. My clients often carry quiet emotional burdens and are longing for clarity, connection, or simply a place to feel seen. They don’t just want tools; they want relief, understanding, and hope that things can feel different. Therapy becomes a space where they can finally exhale and begin to make sense of it all.

The life path of an adopted person is unlike any other. Specialized support is often essential for navigating the unique impacts and meanings that relinquishment and adoption hold for adoptees and those connected to them, past and present. As an adoption-competent therapist, I understand the complex hurts and challenges of adoptees and their families, and provide tools and support needed for honest conversations, healing from loss, and forming close, attuned relationships. Adoptive parents who seek support early can reduce the need for more complex interventions later on. As you integrate the truth of your story, you can heal.

Infertility Therapists
How can infertility affect couples and their relationship?
Clients who are dealing with infertility may experience conflict and communication problems. It’s not unusual for shame, blame, and guilt to arise in cases of infertility, whether the source of the problem is one partner or both. This means that clients are upset and pulling away from their partner just when they need them the most. Some clients may find it difficult to spend time around friends and family who are pregnant. Friends and family can also make hurtful comments that increase tension during this time.

How does therapy for infertility issues work?
The therapist will begin by gathering information about the client or couple and make a treatment plan for their specific concerns. In addition to addressing common mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma reactions or PTSD, therapists can help clients improve their decision-making and deal with stressors unique to infertility. Some examples include coping with the “two-week wait” before a pregnancy test, the distress associated with a failed attempt or miscarriage, and the shame and blame sometimes associated with reproductive concerns.

What type of therapy is best for infertility issues?
Many therapists offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples who are dealing with infertility issues. Some helpful therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which can aid clients in reframing negative thoughts about their situation. Expressive writing and art therapy can help clients process difficult feelings. Clients might also benefit from group therapy to experience support from others who are dealing with the same problems.

How long does therapy for infertility issues take?
There is no set length for therapy that addresses infertility or reproductive concerns. Some clients might find it helpful to continue therapy during their pregnancy to have healthy ways to cope with any associated stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. Some clients who decide not to pursue fertility treatments might benefit from the support of a therapist. The duration of therapy varies depending on the individual client’s specific needs and goals.
