Hello! My name is Kristi Clews, and I am a Master of Social Work student at Grand Canyon University, currently completing my clinical training. I recently completed an internship at the OCD Anxiety Center in Bountiful, Utah, where I worked with individuals experiencing OCD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, and PTSD. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills coaching, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and group facilitation. I am certified in EMDR and have experience in working through traumas both recent and past.

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. I work with people who have spent so much time being strong for everyone else that they feel worn out inside. Maybe you’re navigating big life changes, identity questions, or carrying pain from the past. You might feel anxious, disconnected, or weighed down by old wounds. What you want most is authenticity and to feel whole, confident, and deeply connected in your relationships. Therapy can be your space to rediscover strength, rewrite your story, and move toward the life you deserve. You don’t have to carry this alone, healing and hope are possible.

Life is hard. Three simple words that are at the root of why people seek out therapists. I believe that the vast majority of people are doing the best they can in life. When our thoughts, words and actions aren’t in sync with our values or expectations of ourselves, that can lead to depression, anxiety and other distressing emotions. Sometimes we find ourselves in deep distress due to the actions of others. I find great joy in helping others sort through that complex tangle of emotions, thoughts and behaviors in order to come to a resolution–to figure out how to move forward in a manner that brings them peace.
