You may be feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, whether that shows up as anxiety, ADHD-related struggles, identity questions, or persistent self-doubt. Perhaps you’re carrying old wounds, navigating a life transition, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening internally, and feel genuinely seen and understood.

I came to Woodhaven with a wealth of life experience in both the arts and human services. I worked as a professional musician for many years, which connected me to some of the most vulnerable populations, including the aging, chronically ill and those experiencing grief and sadness. I learned that creativity and healing are intimately linked, and you invariably need one to pursue the other. My unique path has given me valuable insight into our shared human experience. I am particularly interested in the innate ability we all have to strive towards hope and healing.

Trauma shapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world, but it does not define who we are. Healing is possible, and it begins with understanding that struggle does not diminish worth. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, social anxiety, and more—helping them navigate their experiences with compassion and a deep belief in their resilience. My approach goes beyond symptom management; it focuses on reconnecting people with their inner strengths. Healing is not a straight path, but it is a journey worth taking, and I aim to walk alongside my clients with warmth, encouragement, and unwavering support.

I provide personal and professional development to established adults in their rush hours of life (mid-20s to 50s). My clients often have quite a bit going for them (career, relationships, family, finances) while noticing parts of their lives that deserve deeper attention. A good therapy fit matters, along with aligned values. I intentionally maintain a low volume of carefully curated clients so I can truly know you, remember your story, and continue thinking about our work between sessions. The people I work best with are motivated, curious about themselves, and willing to do the difficult work that meaningful change asks of you.

Living through challenging times of collective strife can amplify life's struggles, making it more important to take care of yourself and seek support. I'm often told that I provide a comfortable and safe place where healing work can happen. I love to help people who have survived abuse and trauma work through their past and create a life where they can thrive. I often hear how hard it can be to find a therapist that understands how being in relationship with people who have disordered personalities effect you. This is one of my main areas of focus, and I love helping people heal from the damage narcissism in a partner does.

"There was a dawn remembered when my soul heard something from your soul" - Rumi - The therapuetic encounter allows for the kind of "dawning" which Rumi alludes to. Who am I at my truest being? What lessons am I meant to learn in this lifetime? What gifts do I bring to this world? What is the greater good I want to serve? Each human journey is a mysterious and beautiful evolution of understanding who we are and why we are here. We often lose sight of our inner beauty and goodness due to what seems like life's betrayals, rejections and overwhelming challenges.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.
How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.
Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.
Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
