Hi. I'm Cami Jo. I work with individuals who are driven and feel a need to be "perfect" but are overwhelmed, stuck, or depleted. I am passionate about helping you navigate major life transitions, such as relationship changes (divorce/separation, coparenting, loss), spiritual and religious deconstruction, and trauma. I support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. Together, we work to understand your barriers and strengths and find healing that honors what you truly value. My style is authentic and collaborative mixed with an occasional dose of sarcasm.

Life is hard. We do the best we can to solve our problems with the knowledge we have. But sometimes we find ourselves in a difficult spot where we need fresh perspectives and new thinking tools to help us deal with our problems in a healthier way. That is the benefit of counseling. In a safe and affirming environment, I help my clients find solutions to problems that are solvable, learn to better cope with those that are unsolvable, and discover deeper joy and meaning in life.

Taking those first steps in a healing journey can feel daunting! My goal is to create an environment of safety and respect where I can meet each person who walks into my office exactly where they are. I approach therapy in a collaborative, compassionate manner by looking at the whole person and tailoring my skillset to individual needs. It’s incredibly important to me to provide inclusive, affirming care that sees and celebrates each persons’ different identities and life experiences.

Over two decades ago, my life changed when my children and i found ourselves staying at a domestic violence shelter. The fear and uncertainty was overwhelming. The journey to where I am today was not easy. I worked hard to heal generational trauma, break unhealthy cycles, and create a different future for my family. I earned my degrees with passion and purpose to help others heal from their own trauma and find hope for a better life. I am grateful for every client, every lesson and every step on this journey.
