I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. I have spent much of my career helping individuals work through issues such as anxiety, depression, emotion control- including anger management, and peer and family relationships. I have helped couples navigate difficult situations including addiction and codependency, infidelity, disconnection, and poor communication. I also enjoy helping parents navigate through the highs and lows of the parenting process.

Feeling stuck? Like things aren’t changing? Wondering if your relationship with your spouse or partner will ever improve or if you will just continue in the same cyclical patterns? You might be feeling lonelier than ever as you wrestle with these questions quietly in your heart. You wonder who you can talk to as everyone around you seems to be biased in someway. You know you need a space to think your own thoughts and figure this out for yourself. Or perhaps you struggle with crippling anxiety that has lead to some avoidant behaviors. Either way, you know you want to regain your confidence and feel better.

I believe we all have different parts within us. Some that hold pain, some that try to keep us safe, and others that hold our strengths and a desire to grow. I aim to create a space where clients can explore these parts with curiosity and compassion, helping them move toward healing, deeper self-understanding, and emotional balance. I have experience working with teens and adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and those impacted by domestic violence.

My ideal client is someone who, despite their struggles, possesses a fundamental motivation to change and grow. They aren't just seeking a quick fix or someone to tell them what to do; they are genuinely committed to introspection and active participation in therapy.

My mind likes to tell me, I'm not good enough, or you're never going to make it. These negative self-thoughts are common, and at times, we become victims to the stories we tell ourselves. Learning to accept these thoughts and navigate life challenges, relationships, and stress to the best of our ability is what I am here for. I believe we all have the answers we need inside us, and through thoughtful navigation, we can make the next right move. If you are struggling with anxiety, self-worth, or low motivation, let's work through it together.

I draw from EMDR, CBT, IFS, EFT, and Restoration Therapy, but I also love using creative interventions like sandtray, art, and play to make sessions engaging and meaningful.
Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. I work with people who have spent so much time being strong for everyone else that they feel worn out inside. Maybe you’re navigating big life changes, identity questions, or carrying pain from the past. You might feel anxious, disconnected, or weighed down by old wounds. What you want most is authenticity and to feel whole, confident, and deeply connected in your relationships. Therapy can be your space to rediscover strength, rewrite your story, and move toward the life you deserve. You don’t have to carry this alone, healing and hope are possible.

I became a therapist because I understand how challenging life can be and how important it is to find ways to thrive despite those obstacles. Through my own experiences, I discovered a deep passion for helping others navigate their struggles. I felt compelled to become a therapist to support and understand those in need. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients of all genders; however, as I gained more experience, I found myself particularly drawn to the incredible women with whom I've had the honor of working. Their strength and resilience never cease to inspire me.

Emotionally Focused Therapists
Who is emotionally focused therapy for?
Emotionally focused therapy (EFT) is for couples who are emotionally distressed, stuck in an unsatisfying relationship pattern or feeling deeply alienated. They may even believe the relationship is beyond repair. Very often, the partners display intense anger, fear, grief, loss of trust, or a sense of betrayal in the relationship. In addition, EFT is helpful to couples and individuals who have difficulty expressing emotions and those who have trouble regulating emotions.

Why do people need emotionally focused therapy?
People need emotionally focused therapy because the need for others is built into the brain, but the pressures of daily life can erode feelings of love, and couples often do not have the skills to find their way back to the comfort of each other. Instead, they may be stuck in repetitive patterns of anger, fear, grief, loss of trust, or a sense of betrayal. Emotionally focused therapy regards such strong negative feelings as expressions of protest over the loss of connection and turns them into pathways of reconnection.

What happens in emotionally focused therapy?
Over the course of eight to 20 weekly sessions, couples de-escalate their negative emotional reactivity to one another so that they can listen to each other and be responsive to each other’s needs. Then the deep emotional and physical bond is restored, giving partners a sense of comfort and security, which they can use to solve whatever problems come their way. The therapist plays an active role, helping partners understand how anger and withdrawal are actually misguided cries for connection.

What problems does emotionally focused therapy treat?
EFT is designed to help couples stuck in dysfunctional relationship patterns regain closeness and rebuild their relationship. Typically, such couples experience considerable distress, with partners feeling alienated and distrustful of one another, not certain their relationship can survive. EFT is also helpful to individuals experiencing attachment-related fears of loss; it helps them learn to use their fears as a way of eliciting the closeness they desire.
