Feeling stuck? Like things aren’t changing? Wondering if your relationship with your spouse or partner will ever improve or if you will just continue in the same cyclical patterns? You might be feeling lonelier than ever as you wrestle with these questions quietly in your heart. You wonder who you can talk to as everyone around you seems to be biased in someway. You know you need a space to think your own thoughts and figure this out for yourself. Or perhaps you struggle with crippling anxiety that has lead to some avoidant behaviors. Either way, you know you want to regain your confidence and feel better.

I'm a therapist who truly believes healing starts when you feel safe enough to be real. My work is rooted in helping adults and teens who feels disconnected from themselves and tired of feeling like they're never enough. They may be navigating interracial adoption, racial identity, belonging, or self-esteem while carrying confusion, self doubt, and emotional weight they cannot fully name. They want to feel confident in who they are, trust themselves, and stop shrinking to make others comfortable. They are looking for a space where they can show up fully and feel seen without having to explain themselves.

I can also offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Counseling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and counseling on ADD/ADHD.
My clients have tried talk traditional talk therapy and have felt like they've hit a wall. The same patterns keep showing up in relationships, in work, in how they treat themselves. I work with people who need more than surface-level coping strategies, who want to trust themselves again without second-guessing every decision.

I'm an EMDR-certified therapist, trained in IFS, DBT, CBT, attachment and mindfulness-based approaches, specializing in deep, lasting healing.
You’ve built a life that looks good to everyone else. But inside, things feel off. You’re the one people count on—at work, at home, in a crisis—but you feel numb, exhausted, or like you’re just going through the motions. Maybe it’s because of past trauma or years of powering through while not having time to focus on yourself. You know it's time- something has to change. I help women who take care of everything and everyone else reconnect with themselves, so they can stop just surviving and finally feel like they are living life.

CCTP - Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, DBT Certified, completed training for EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and TF-CBT - Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Hello. I am a mindfulness based therapist. I focus on why energy in the mind-body rises when facing conflict and how it is a stress response to “keep you safe." You will be guided to recognize when you are reactive, what that does to your ability to think in that moment, and how to respond differently. When appropriate, I will also utilize EMDR to reprocess stuck trauma. It is truly life changing when you learn to pair life challenges with a calm mind-body.

I believe that therapy is an opportunity to come home to yourself. We spend every second of every day with ourselves and yet, it can be hard to say we truly are at home within our bodies. My aim in practicing therapy is to help you on your journey to discovering a true home within yourself. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as those who have experienced trauma.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
