I love helping a person become their best version of themselves. Most people seeking counseling feel defeated. My strategies help them find hope and to develop new approaches to help them become powerful people with tangible and deep changes in how they feel and in their beliefs about themselves so that they are living lives of joy and fulfillment. Ideally a client is ready to try new approaches to their life, is ready to get out of the constant cycle of overthinking, and is ready to take a journey deep inside where they can heal emotionally and physically, and emerge ready to truly LIVE.

I use a blend of approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples/individuals, and trauma-informed care rooted in somatic awareness and attachment theory.
Picture reaching for your spouse and knowing they will be there to respond—offering warmth, understanding, and reassurance. You have a marriage where love flows freely, trust feels effortless, and your bond is stronger than ever. You and your spouse are not just surviving—you are thriving, deeply connected, and at peace. Laughter fills your home, conversations are open and meaningful, and intimacy feels safe and fulfilling. You need help getting there. Right now, your relationship may feel fragile, weighed down by betrayal, hurt, and disconnection. But hope is not lost. Healing is possible. Let's begin. Your best chapter is waiting.

You keep finding yourself in these patterns with partners, families, and friendships and you think to yourself, “is this how it’s really supposed to be”?
I help individuals with eating disorders and body image issues heal their relationship with themselves, build confidence, self trust, and start feeling safe and sexy in their skin. I help couples with intimacy issues that are blocking them from love, pleasure, and connection.

Life brings unexpected challenges and traumas—some brief, others long-lasting. In the midst of this, we often lose touch with our inner voice, neglect our needs, and begin to believe negative core beliefs. This can lead to cycles of anxiety, depression, and difficulty in relationships and daily life. Together, we’ll work to break these patterns, heal from trauma, and reconnect with your true self. My goal is to help you rediscover your inner serenity, strengthen your self-awareness, and build the tools needed for lasting growth and change.

If you’re watching your teenager struggle and aren’t sure how to help, or conversations at home keep turning into conflict, you’re not alone. Many parents I work with feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what to try next. Therapy becomes a space where both you and your teen can feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the process. Using creative tools and a collaborative approach, I help your family build practical skills, improve communication, and take clear, realistic steps toward meaningful, lasting change together. You will leave sessions with clear next steps and more solid insight of what your teen needs from you.

I pursued a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy because I’m passionate about helping people grow and heal in their relationships.
I believe therapy is most effective when we take a systemic approach, looking at challenges through the lens of your relationships and the larger context of your life. Whether we’re working in couples, family, or individual therapy, we’ll explore the patterns that shape your experiences. Through therapy, I will help you to find new practical steps forward.

I work with children, teens, adults, older adults, and couples.
Taking those first steps in a healing journey can feel daunting! My goal is to create an environment of safety and respect where I can meet each person who walks into my office exactly where they are. I approach therapy in a collaborative, compassionate manner by looking at the whole person and tailoring my skillset to individual needs. It’s incredibly important to me to provide inclusive, affirming care that sees and celebrates each persons’ different identities and life experiences.

Marriage Counseling Therapists
How does marriage counseling work?
Marriage counseling works by teaching couples concrete skills to communicate with one another and solve disagreements in healthy ways. A trained mental health professional works with both members of a couple to explore difficulties the couple may be having and helps them develop skills to address these matters. Couples who don’t have any difficulties but want to prepare for marriage may develop skills for the future.

How long does marriage counseling typically last?
Marriage counseling is a short-term form of therapy; the process may last between four and eight sessions. Other forms of relationship guidance from mental health professionals, such as couples therapy, are longer lasting, may focus on the past rather than just the present, and are tailored to the individual couple and their emotions, history, and patterns in the relationship. Couples therapy often lasts for 12 weeks or longer.

Is marriage counseling effective?
Marriage counseling helps many couples develop relationship skills that may not have been acquired or tested in a relationship; partners may be better able to communicate and address conflict following counseling. However, there are many different forms of marriage counseling, and this form of counseling does not have as strong an evidence base as other modalities such as couples therapy.

Is marriage counseling effective if only one partner wants to go?
Yes, marriage counseling can still be effective if one partner convinces the other to engage in the process. Of course, whether counseling is effective depends on the couple’s commitment to work on their relationship; however, the short-term, skills-based nature of marriage counseling makes it a relatively easy “ask” of a partner, and the hesitant individual may see its value once counseling begins.
