I specialize in helping people with the belief they are not enough, I use parts work, CBT, EMDR, and DBT to treat those who feel intense deep emotions of overwhelm, and feelings of inadequacy, and teach them to let go of the negative beliefs and embrace their true selves while learning effective strategies to cope and create a life worth living.
Do you wake up every morning and think "I can’t get out of bed”? It seems like too much right now! You peel yourself out of bed anyway, because you know you have to get going. You have to do all the “things” to make the world function for the humans in your life, but some days it feels like too much. You think this shouldn’t be this hard. I should know what to do and yet you still don’t make any change. You turn on the podcasts and the audiobooks, but no matter how many you listen to you just cannot get yourself to make lasting change. If you could just talk this out maybe you would not feel so stuck and so alone.

Your child shouldn’t have to carry the weight of the world, but lately, it seems like they do. They may wake up already overwhelmed, resist school, or worry constantly. You’ve tried everything—love, encouragement, structure—but nothing seems to help. As a parent, you're heartbroken and wondering if this is just a phase or something more. You're looking for answers, for real relief, and for someone who can help your child feel confident, calm, and safe again. Most of all, you want to see them smile and enjoy being a kid.

Our clinicians draw from evidence-based methods like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), CBT, and DBT skills to help clients process, heal, and move forward.
Maybe you're going through something painful or confusing—maybe it’s a recent life change, old wounds that won’t stay buried, or emotions that feel too big to handle alone. You might not know exactly what you need, but you know you'd like to feel better, more grounded, and more like yourself. What matters most to is finding a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to perform or protect others—where you can be real, be heard, and start to heal at your own pace.

I tailor my approach using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including CBT, DBT, PCIT and other modalities, to find what works best for each client.
I love helping kids navigate big feelings and anxiety. I’m passionate about breaking down emotional walls and connecting with teens who are struggling—whether it’s school, friendships, self-harm, or just life in general (it's tough being a teen these days!). I also support adults facing life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and workplace burnout. My approach to therapy is soft, compassionate, and supportive. Here, we say we bring the "treat" back to treatment. Our sessions won’t always be rainbows and butterflies, but the work we do together will help you or your child grow, heal, and rediscover joy.

I work with children, teens, and adults who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, relationship challenges, or difficulties at home, school, or work. With children and teens, I use developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and play-based approaches to help them express emotions, build healthy coping skills, and strengthen resilience. I work closely with caregivers to support safe relationships. For adults, therapy is not only to reduce distress but also to understand the deeper patterns behind it, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more meaningful.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
