As a 20 year military veteran with multiple deployments I have insight and experience working with combat related Post Traumatic Stress and Military Family Life issues. My clinical emphasis is on using proven, evidence based cognitive behavioral processes to affect positive change. In short...a straightforward approach that provides understanding of why we did what we did yesterday, do what we do today, and how we can do something different tomorrow. Yesterday created today but we define and create tomorrow.
I have worked for several years with victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Trauma and have served on both county and state Domestic Violence councils. I have experience working in the fields of addiction, substance abuse and dependence, and crisis response.
