I am a licensed clinical child psychologist specializing in utilizing state of the art assessment and therapy techniques to detect and treat learning disabilities, ADHD, and other emotional/personality issues which may hinder a child's learning experience. In addition, our clinic performs infant developmental testing and kindergarten readiness evaluations. As a parent of five children, I understand the many issues that we face on a daily basis with our children and I strive to assist parents with finding answers to problems facing their family system.

We all travel a unique path through this life. Sometimes we experience obstacles and pain along the way. Our relationships are so important to us, but we may not always know the best way to deal with our spouse, our children, our own parents, etc. Sometimes we don't know who to talk to about our struggles. We may face depression, grief, or continue to deal with trauma from our past that still crops up in our current relationships. We long for healing and peace of mind.

I have been working as a Marriage & Family Therapist for over a decade now, and it has truly been the privilege of a lifetime! I believe my clients have everything they need within themselves to heal, find meaning, and thrive, but we all need support, connection, and collaboration to grow perspective and make lasting changes. I see individuals, couples, and family relationships, ranging from adolescence through adulthood. I work from several approaches and do my best to tailor therapy to my clients’ personalities, temperaments, and functional abilities.

As a marriage and family therapist, I have education and training in treating children, adolescents , and adults. I work in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and various issues that arise in relationships including communication skills and marital issues. I have had success in helping clients develop the skills they need to understand, cope with, and solve the problems that prevent them from living fuller and happier lives.

I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation and victims of abuse. I like to involve parents in the process so that it is a team approach and everyone can utilize skills to help each other. I also work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety and life changes. I enjoy teaching skills and tools to implement in daily life.

My great passion is bringing the empowerment of healing to people who are suffering with addiction or are suffering due to having been through a traumatic/stressful experience (or both). I help my clients, who include Children and Adolescents, adults, couples and families, to lessen the impact of substances; by lessening there suffering, by helping them find and process their core issues, thus discovering and nurturing healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen

I believe those things you may label as weakness or failure make sense in light of what you have been through. Don’t give up! Growth, change and healing are possible. As a therapist, I feel honored to join my clients on their journey of healing as they are reminded of their strengths and learn new skills to overcome their challenges. I understand the importance of building trust with my clients, respecting their stories without judgment, and creating a safe space for them to be open and vulnerable. I find joy in helping my clients better understand themselves and their past and present relationships, let go of negative core beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving them, and ultimately believe that they are enough.

My 10 years as a therapist has exposed me to a variety of challenges from deescalating unsafe situations to mediating complex relationship barriers. In my experience trauma, can often be found at the core of depression, anxiety, family/spouse conflict, disordered eating, sexual confusion and addiction. All of which can create a sense of feeling stuck, unfulfilled and alone. In some cases, these struggles can be intimidating to address without help. My belief is that therapy acts as a safe place for you to address those struggles in an empowering way. One that gives a sense of purpose, and leaves you feeling connected.

I have a passion for supporting parents and families. I know first-hand how hard it can be to feel helplessly caught in a power struggle with your child when all you want to do is just love them. Being a parent can be beyond overwhelming and make you feel like a speck of dust but it can also bring intense fulfillment. There is no manual on how to parent since every child is unique. I hope to help parents and children to identify their own value, change how their view their relationships, and build safe attachments to those around them.

My goal is to help you find the peace and stability you are seeking! I work primarily with adults, young adults, and teenagers facing anxiety, depression, relational issues, ADHD, eating disorders and body image concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and grief. I have witnessed the discovery, healing, and growth that can occur through the therapeutic process and firmly believe it is attainable for any individual.

I understand the complexities of life and relationships and how hard it can be to navigate. It can feel overwhelming and even helpless at times. I approach life and therapy with a wide lens. I like to take a holistic approach to mental health and I understand that our mental, physical and spiritual parts are intertwined. As humans we are made to feel emotions. I don’t view life or therapy as a process of learning to avoid difficult or uncomfortable feelings or a process of perfection. I view it as a process of discovery, acceptance, growth, and understanding.
