About
Do you feel stuck, as if you can't quite reach your goals for a happy, peaceful life? Are drug or alcohol use causing problems in your life or relationships? Is depression or anxiety keeping you from doing things that you used to enjoy? I focus on helping you to develop that "can do attitude" in order to get to what you want to be having and doing in your life. We will work together on positive experiences that give you the energy to reach your small to large goals.
I have several years of experience working with individuals and families around issues that impact happiness. My collaborative treatment approach prioritizes attaining your goals by removing obstacles and focusing on positive change.
I have over 20 years working in various human service settings. I understand that life brings with it many challenges that may seem overwhelming at times. Having the energy to make changes can be hard, however necessary. Let me show you how. Don't forget to mention that you found me on Psychology Today!

Youth Mental Health First Aid
Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8 hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Mental Health First Aid uses roleplaying and simulations to demonstrate how to assess a mental health crisis; select interventions and provide initial help; and connect young people to professional, peer, social, and self-help care. The course is designed for adults who regularly interact with adolescents.
