Announcement icon We are OPEN from 6.00am - 11.30am Mondays- Sundays. 9 therapists in 9 Bay Area locations. Immediate entry. Appointments within 24 hours.
Concierge therapy offered in Palo Alto, Rockridge & SF locations. You decide on the day, time, location, in-person or online. This modality is for busy professionals/students who want to graduate psychotherapy fast. Sessions are fun and focused. Most clients can graduate from therapy within 3-6 months for life transition problems. For severe trauma and mental health cases, it can a little longer. Specializing in teens, couples and individuals struggling with trauma, sexual abuse, substances abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, suicide, trust, abandonment, severe mental health and anger.
When needs are not met, people resort to anger, a secondary emotion, in order to protect one's self from/cover up vulnerable feelings that is not verbalized. You will learn tools and skills to manage your emotions effectively/appropriately in an interactive fashion. This ONLY takes months, not years.
When individuals/couples come in with any problems, treatment starts with putting in place immediate changes that needs to be adhered to on a daily basis, that produces positive results. You need to learn tools and skills first, and practice. Once there is hope and confidence, then past work begins. The goal: to never see a psychotherapist AGAIN!

Online Teens Group (13-18) Insurance accepted

Adolescence is a tough period in a child's life as it's marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and interest in usual activities. Depression can be a transient response to many situations and stresses. In adolescence, depressed mood is common element of the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, the influence of hormones, and independence conflicts with parents. This is an active, funny, lively, supportive and well established group, with all teens attending it, every week. This group meets over Skype as members are located all over the SF Bay Area and California
