They often want to talk with a caring professional who can help them understand what they are going through and why. Some may want to learn new strategies for coping, and at times, find the motivation to change some of their old behaviors for a new and better life.
With a person centered approach and a variety of counseling tools, I help those with mental health concerns find ways to manage their behaviors and emotions for a better now. I also have been able to help those feeling stressed, worried or anxious, find ways to see through the often overwhelming tangle of life, for a clearer, calmer view.
I care deeply and want to offer support on your life journey. I can share my knowledge of psychology, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and other counseling tools along they way, but mostly, I want to be there to listen and help you find your own solutions towards meeting your life challenges, and your mental health or recovery goals.
