My intention is to support those who seek to understand the true cause(s) of their issues and treat them, rather than rely on pills only. Would you like to improve focus/concentration, clear thinking and interpersonal/academic and job success using an Integrated traditional and holistic approach? I enjoy helping individuals of all ages develop a sense of connectedness & self-compassion. I strive to help them feel safe and cared for as they find themselves and their passion.

I have practiced as a school psychologist for 30 years and still find great joy and excitement in helping identify a person's strengths and build an them.I complete comprehensive evaluations, offer school advocacy, & provide individual, and family therapy as well as a group movement program called TKD Fusion.

I experience clients through a mind/body/spirit lens, and share the eastern paradigm with them. I sometimes refer clients to explore gut/brain connection issues, nutritional status, and vitamin/mineral deficiencies. My clients often develop a practice of mindfulness/meditation, yoga, biofeedback and/or exercise that is very helpful in finding complete health.

Classes are set for ages 3 through Adult and include individuals with Autism, ADHD, LD, anxiety/depression, etc. The group blends martial arts with activities to develop emotional and physical self- regulation, social skills and confidence. The emphasis is on controlling impulses, maintaining focus, developing stress management tools and setting/achieving goals. The physical training and repetitive moment reinforces neural pathways and develops attention span and self-control. Individuals progress through a traditional TKD belt system and may achieve a black belt through Seoul, Korea.

Insights into Mindful Parenting Classes

A program to help parents "put their oxygen mask" so they may then be better able to understand, accept and relate to their children/teens, and support their growth. Parents learn the basics of Mindfulness and Meditation, including yogic breathing, awareness of thoughts and body sensations, eating mindfully, body scans, loving kindness, and other mindfulness techniques that they can easily integrate into their daily lives. Parents/caregivers also learn how they can include their children and begin to develop a practice within the home.
