Bay Area Christian Counseling Center is located in Annapolis, Maryland. Our counselors are believers and followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All of our counselors are professionally trained at the Master's or Doctoral degree level and licensed through the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as psychologists, professional counselors or social workers. Our goal is to provide sound professional mental health and counseling services, rooted in Biblical truth and ethics, for the Christian community and the community at large.

For many parents, mealtime can be frustrating, especially if challenging behavior goes beyond ‘typical pickiness.’ As the director of Healthy Beginnings, a behavioral feeding therapy program, I have helped children that have displayed a variety of challenging mealtimes behaviors. This includes selectivity by food, color, brand, and texture, as well as children who may vomit at the sight of a new food, or perhaps refuse to feed themselves with utensils. Feeding tube dependency is another area in which I have taught children how to eat and drink who perhaps have had minimal or no experience with oral feeding.

I am currently only accepting clients who are comfortable working in a telehealth capacity. I can support individuals working through challenges with anxiety, self-esteem concerns, family, and adjustment or transition.

In my 25 years of practice I have helped adults, children and teens overcome a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, anger problems and alcohol/drug addictions using traditional (cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy) and non-traditional (Eastern philosophy and meditation, and art therapy) methods. I believe that all people have the ability to help themselves, but sometimes due to overwhelming life circumstances, hardships, and crises; they become "stuck."

Life today is difficult with all the demands placed on us by our family, work and our own need to achieve. Add to this the emotional stress of family conflict, divorce, defiant children, an illness or death in the family, and you begin to understand why more and more people are seeking the help of mental health professionals.

Being an art therapist and a clinical social worker, I believe that in my work with children, adolescents, and adults a way exists in finding the best self that is somewhere within themselves. Amy is 2008 graduate with her Masters in Social Work and has been a licensed social worker since that time. She also holds a bachelors in social work from James Madison University. New to Cedar Ridge in 2016 Amy works with all populations including young adults and couples, however she specializes in Children/adolescents and family development.

Anthony B. Wolff, a licensed psychologist, earned his degree from McGill University. He also holds a Master of Science in Computer Systems, and has worked as a professional musician. Dr. Wolff is on the medical staff of Anne Arundel Medical Center and was formerly a consulting psychologist with Pathways Chemical Dependency Program. He previously was a Research Scientist at Gallaudet University, Project Director for Children’s Services in the New York State Office of Mental Health, Chief Psychologist at the Albany County (NY) Mental Health Clinic, and adjunct faculty member at the State University of New York at Albany.
