I specialize in treating all kinds of disordered eating behaviors, ranging from mild concerns to severe issues. I enjoy helping those diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorders, as well as those who do not meet the diagnostic criteria. I believe it is essential to work as a team with your dietitian, psychiatrist and PCP, as necessary. In addition to eating disorders, I really enjoy the healing work with clients who have been sexual abused, including those sexually assaulted, raped, molested or harassed.
I love using humor, mindfulness practices and spirituality in my therapy sessions. I think and plan for long term healing for my clients, not simply short term symptom maintenance. Healing is possible--let's do the hard things and get there together.
