Education and Training: Mrs. Simona Stanila received her Bachelor's Degree in Education, Literature and Languages from the University of Bucharest, Romania and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology (MACL) from Argosy University, Schaumburg, Illinois. She is currently working towards her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D. ) at Argosy University, Chicago, Illinois. During her Practicum for her Master's Degree, Mrs. Simona Stanila worked at the Streamwood Behavioral Health Center in Illinois as a part of the Advanced Crisis Therapy (ACT) unit.

Melissa Downey is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois who has been practicing since 2022. She has an M.S. Ed in Counseling. Melissa believes in taking a holistic, person-centered approach, focused on each person's strengths as a way to personalize their experience. She strives to work together with clients on achieving those goals through realistic goalsetting, drawing from strengths each person already has within them, combined with new skills learned in session together. Kaleb Pollum is a licensed social worker with experience helping individuals overcome obstacles such as depression, stress, anxiety, communication issues, interpersonal relationships, and effectively managing mood and personality disorders. He specializes in treating borderline personality disorder. Kaleb desires to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships so that his clients can feel at ease and find clarity in their thinking. He utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, in-depth psychoanalysis, and adapted dialectical behavior therapy to accomplish this.

Bridget DeLuca, PsyD, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University - Schaumburg with a master's and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Bridget believes in an Integrative Approach when working with Clients. She tends to begin with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strength-based supportive approach, but tailors each session to each individual person as not everything works the same on everyone.

Deborah L. Kivett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2003. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Social Work from Aurora University. Deborah believes in being an active listener and providing a safe environment for her clients where they can establish trust and build a therapeutic rapport.

My therapeutic philosophy incorporates Adlerian ideals, which focus on acceptance of our humanity and encouragement of the greatest potential within ourselves. Using empathy and validation, I will listen to your life story to better understand your worldview and unique experiences that led you to counseling. I also use Rogerian theory to prioritize unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and empathy to build a therapeutic relationship. This approach helps foster a safe space to make changes you want to address towards a life that is more congruent with values and goals.

I have been a professional psychotherapist for the past 30 years. Early in my career, most of my focus was on the treatment of children, adolescents and families, often referred some of the most difficult cases from local schools, courts and police departments. As my practice evolved, so did my experience working with adult individuals and couples. Practical experience and continued professional training has enhanced my abilities to work with a variety of personal struggles that include depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, alcohol and substance abuse and relationship struggles with couples and families.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 18 years experience working with children, tweens, teens, adolescents, young adults and their families. We can all agree that at every age and stage of life we encounter hurdles. As we attempt to negotiate these hurdles they may bring about anxiety, depression, anger, academic and other school-related struggles, emotional struggles, trauma, eating disorders, self-harm (cutting), grief, executive functioning difficulties and self-esteem issues.
