Hi, I am Renee Leftwich-Render, I am a mental health therapist who works with individuals and couples who want to work through the challenges of life to discover their authentic selves. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specializing in the areas of trauma (sexual abuse, physical abuse, maltreatment, PTSD), anxiety, depression, self-esteem & identity, and couples and family work. When working with couples I utilize the research and theories of the Gottman Method developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman to facilitate reconnection and strengthen communication. Michael Pretz grew up in Friday Harbor, WA playing Wolverine Football and Wrestling. He worked for the state of Alaska for 7 years working in Anchorage. In therapy, Michael's goal is to help and support people through an individualized growth and healing process. Michael is a client-centered therapist with an existential philosophy. In my psychotherapy practice with adolescents, men, women and families the focus is typically on issues such as behavioral concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD and anger. I believe that everyone is entitled to be treated with respect and honesty and that therapy should start where the client is at. Additionally, each client has their own ways of gaining insight and implementing new patterns into their lives and will have their own pace at which they discover the strengths within themselves. I like to work with the client to discover what is most effective for them and go from there.

Jennifer Morton is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alaska. She has worked with residents of rural Alaska for 12+ years in more than two dozen communities in Northwestern Alaska. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who seek assistance with mental health, behavioral, and substance use issues. She has advanced training in complex trauma, ADHD, addictions, mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. Jennifer takes a holistic approach to treatment, addressing physical, financial, occupational, relational, and social functioning affected by the client's issues so they can achieve balance.
