Whether we are addressing trauma, behavioral concerns, addictions, depression, relationship concerns etc. You can expect a warm, empathetic and safe environment to allow your process to unfold.
I draw from multiple modalities including Cognitive Therapies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and other Emotionally focused and Attachment focused approaches. I have also worked extensively with addictions, providing substance use treatment and assessments. I also offer DBT skills group facilitation and DBT process group facilitation.

Level 1 DBT Skills- Adhering to Linehan's model of teaching: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance (Crisis Survival), Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Level 2 (Process Group): Reduce PTSD or other Trauma responses through direct exposure to emotions in a group setting. This group requires at least six months of Level 1 skills training.

DBT Skills: We teach for modules over the course of six months. Skills modules include Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Each client will receive 24 hour skills coaching to aid in generalizing skills.
