I enjoy working with individuals and couples navigating difficult periods in their lives. I take a collaborative approach that is grounded in a curious and compassionate inquiry into the areas that get us all stuck. I work with individuals to move through these places in the context of a safe and trusting relationship. Within that relationship an individual can harness their own innate drive towards health and well-being. My work is grounded in my own mindfulness practice and I encourage clients to experiment with mindfulness as a path to transformation and wellness.
Relationships are central to our emotional and physical health. Working with couples is an area I am passionate about. We are biologically wired for connection. I work with couples to revive and strengthen that connection. I focus on relationship conflicts, infidelity, improving communication, intimacy and sex.
Group therapy is another powerful vehicle for understanding and exploring feelings. Groups provide a safe environment where members can look at their relationship habits. I lead ongoing groups where clients can receive support and feedback and learn to connect in new ways with other members and in their personal life.

Groups
Monday Evening Adult Process Group
This is an ongoing mixed gender group where members can explore in a safe environment how they relate to themselves and others. They can receive support and feedback as they experiment with making new and deeper connections with other members. The group provides a place for members to discover that they share many of the same challenges as other group members. Talking with those members can bring feelings of validation and acceptance. It is also a terrific way to test the skills that a client has developed in individual counseling; to experiment with and gauge the progress already made.
