As a clinician with over 25 years of experience, my first goal is to understand you, your circumstances, and where you have come from to help you achieve your goals and improve your well-being. My training includes both doctoral and master’s degrees in social work. I also hold a master’s degree in pastoral counseling and specialize in Christian counseling for those seeking a faith-based perspective. My areas of specialty practice include working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, addiction, grief and loss, and challenges related to past hurts, life transitions, and relationship and family problems.

My approach is a collaborative one as I feel my my role is to help each individual find the strengths and skills already within them to manage their lives. Each individual determines their own needs, and goals while I help guide them to where they want to be.

I’m a Mental Health Professional, Certified Life Coach, and former Athlete. I have spent the beginning of my career gaining experience in the mental health field. I have experience in working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, substance abuse, psychotic disorders, autism spectrum disorder, cognitive deficits, and various other mental health conditions. I also have multiple years of experience lifting weights and exercising as I lost nearly 100 lbs in a body transformation.

I own a candle store that I share with a tattoo artist. We have candles, tattoos, and counseling all in one location. I believe in making mental health services more accessible and welcoming. I try to meet my clients where they are and discover where they want to be. Aromatherapy, music, visualization, and an emphasis on recovering all that is lost when traumatized are at the center of my approach. We work together to remember the things loved most before trauma.
