As a culturally sensitive therapist to all walks of life, I focus on supporting the healing heart. Are you an individual or couple/family group experiencing family relationship and personal life issues; substance abuse, domestic violence and anger control difficulties? I love to assist individuals in discovering and eliminating root causes inhibiting personal growth, self-understanding, and the removal of barriers that are blocking effective communications, conflict resolution, positive behavior choices and effective self control. I am person centered so that you are able to reach past the emotion to touch understanding.

I offer assistance to individuals with substance use disorders as well as couples who are working through gaining communication skills to help resolve issues. I engage in thought stopping by helping you understand your presenting believed thoughts by using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness inner dialogue.

Because I am focused on supporting the healing heart, this work is done through acceptance and nonjudgmental responses to what is happening or talking about. Your beliefs are accepted and highlighted to present help in understanding your truths. I'm excited to work together and have availability!
