Tynisha has previously worked as a Mental Health Clinician since 2017 - within higher education and an outpatient clinic that services Children and Families and is presently in private practice. She is integrative and uses a variety of theoretical approaches to help treat clients, but most often uses CBT, DBT, Solution-Focus, Person-Centered and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches. Tynisha has supported clients managing symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, panic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, self-esteem and relationship issues. Her desire is to help her clients to have harmony between thoughts, feelings and actions.
Tynisha strives to encourage and build up her clients self-esteem and her therapeutic approach involves understanding who the client is. She believes that overall wellness is achieved when a person is able to embrace their uniqueness, know their purpose and feel empowered to walk in the truth of who they are.
Tynisha's strength is the ability to understand seasons of growth and change that through self-awareness and acceptance, can be one of the most life-changing and rewarding experience towards self-actualization.
