Even though one of my passions is working with college aged individuals, my ideal client is any adult looking to work on and better themselves. When you are open and honest about needing help and playing an active role in your mental health journey that is when real progress can occur. Anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship issues are my areas of specialty. Anyone dealing with these issues can feel very alone and misunderstood. But they don't have to, because that is where therapy comes into play. Being validated, heard, and supported through these difficult times can make the biggest impact they may need.
My goal for treatment is to create a safe holding environment. I strive for my clients to feel safe and comfortable to express themselves openly and without judgment. Creating a therapeutic alliance with mutual respect, reliability, appropriate boundaries and confidentiality are key.
