Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Prior to entering the mental health field, I spent 10 years in banking. During a time of personal struggle, I started my own journey with counseling. The process had such an impact that I left banking in order to continue working with others in a deeper and more relational capacity. I enjoy working with couples and adults of all ages, working with issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, infidelity, and divorce.
I believe that I counsel out of who I am as a person, and therefore humbly recognize that my journey of healing and growth will always be an important and continuing part of my story and career. I integrate Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, the Interpersonal Process, Person-Centered Therapy, and some Internal Family Systems.
Outside of the office, I enjoy weight lifting, spikeball, racquetball, hiking, and watching movies with my wife. As a Gainesville native, I love my community, my local church, and adore my wife and sons.
