Clients usually approach me because they are overwhelmed with anxiety and stress, facing challenges affecting their relationships, career, and health. During sessions with me I will provide you with tools to assist with anxiety and stress management while providing support towards changing habits and behaviors that aren't working for you. I can also provide suggestions for managing relationships that have become a source of distress and support towards reaching goals that can improve your sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.
I mainly specialize in anxiety and stress management. My focus is providing support to the LGBTQ+ community, albeit you do not have to be part of that demographic to work with me. I use a variety of techniques in session from motivational interviewing, CBT, EMDR, ACT, somatic therapy, and art therapy to assist you with improving your emotional wellbeing.
You can expect that working with me will involve plenty of conversation so that I can get to know you, and you can get to know me. Please message me rather than call me because I can respond very promptly to emails throughout the day as opposed to finding time to return telephone calls. I provide a free 15 minute phone consultation for every client.
