Potential clients usually approach me because they are overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, or because they are experiencing challenges that are affecting their emotional wellbeing, relationships, career, or sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. During sessions with me I will provide you with practical tools to assist with managing your anxiety and stress, while providing support towards changing habits or behaviors that no longer serve you. My approach will normalize your experience and allow you to regain a sense of control thus helping you decide how to redefine who you are.
I specialize in mitigating and managing anxiety using tools from a trauma-trained approach. I also specialize in assisting clients with issues around attachment that are affecting intimacy and relationships. I work with the LGBTQ community as well providing support around coming out, transitioning, or exploring open/poly-relationships.
You can expect that a session with me will involve a lot of conversation so that we can get to know each other. I provide a collaborative space with my clients and I consider you the expert of your life while I provide additional perspectives for you to explore. Depending on your level of interest, I may introduce art therapy to engage your creativity.
