Sometimes the stressors of life can become too much to manage on our own, and when that happens therapy can be a very useful tool. I enjoy the process of meeting clients where they are at, and helping them get to where they want to be. I am a clinician with 14 years of experience partnering with adolescents, young adults, adults, senior citizens, and couples seeking help with depression, anxiety, grief & loss, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship/intimacy issues, and life transitions.
I utilize an integrative approach that is collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered. I incorporate psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral theories and techniques into my treatment which is tailored to the needs of each client in partnership with them. I am currently pursuing my certification in sex therapy.
I seek to establish a rapport with my clients that is built upon mutual respect and trust. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is directed in accordance with the clients goals and values.
