Tyler uses a person-centered approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family, by calling on his expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-based therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. A foundation of his practice is to normalize the experience of receiving therapy to reduce barriers in the therapeutic process as clients begin their journey of self-discovery and healing. The goal is always to assist clients in managing life’s stressors while strengthening their ability to cope with personal challenges and maintain a healthy, prosperous lifestyle.
Throughout Tyler's adolescence and early adulthood, he witnessed the obstacles his friends and family faced when seeking support for their anxiety. He experienced firsthand the adverse impact that had on their personal, social, and academic lives.
For these reasons, he chose a profession that provides support to people on their therapeutic journeys. He plans to use his abilities to work collaboratively with clients ensuring they feel capable of meeting their goals and aspirations.
