My name is Tyler Lords, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Practicing telehealth therapy to residents in Hawaii. I work with teens and adults and specialize in working with people with anxiety, depression, life transitions, adjustment to medical conditions, LGBTQI+, and grief and loss using cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic interventions to assist people in making progress in their concerns and allow them to start feeling better balanced at coping through life's transitions and challenges.
I feel that I am a good fit for adults and teens who want to feel better and start to heal from trauma, depression, anxiety, and loss and grief. I have been a social worker in the medical setting for over 9 years and specialize in helping people adapt and cope in crisis and transitions, process of adjustment to illness, and grief and loss.
My focus is to listen through unconditional positive regard and to strengthen my patients through building coping skills, utilizing and exploring their strengths, and finding solutions towards wellness and improved health.
