I help individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of struggles, whether it's internal emotional and mental difficulties, or challenges in their relationships. I treat clients who need help with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, grief and loss, faith concerns, couple conflict, pre-marital counseling, infidelity, parenting distress, and more. Please see below for a full list of issues I treat. If clients prefer, I am also happy to incorporate faith and spirituality in therapy.
I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and am currently working towards completing my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. While a good portion of my training is in using family-based models of treatment, I have also been trained to treat individual clients. I've seen a variety of couples, families, and individuals in my career.
Whichever type of therapy you need, I firmly believe (and I am backed by research on this!) that the most important part of therapy is creating a relationship with my clients that is supportive, empathetic, and safe. I hope that in our work, I can meet each client's needs in a genuine, collaborative way.
