As a queer therapist I understand the complexities surrounding the dynamics of coming out, starting hormones/ social transitioning, dating within a small community, and trying be queer in a world that isn't supporting you. For couples navigating your interpersonal relationship and the stresses that are compounded by your outside responsibilities is hard and often make conflict more difficult. As your therapist we can work on setting goals surrounding coming out, transitioning, relationship issues, and managing the anxiety, depression, and trauma that accompanies the minority stress and burn out in your life.
As your therapist I am here to unpack the microaggressions, stress, and traumas that impact my clients. My therapy uses a strengths-based approach to empower and provides gender affirming care with a sex positive lens so individuals or couples of diverse relationship types, sexualities, and identities feel affirmed, heard, and validated in a safe space.
I am here to provide not only a safe space but a place to be who you are and explore the issues that are affecting your ability to live the life you want. I am open for both telahealth and in person sessions and provide free 15 minute consultations to make sure I am the right fit for you. Feel free to text, email, or call me to arrange services.
