I believe every person has the inner strength and wisdom to heal. I also believe in the power of secure relationships to help regulate our nervous systems. As a certified clinical trauma specialist (Arizona Trauma Institute), I strive to create a trauma-informed healing space.
My therapeutic approach tends to be experiential, somatic, and emotion-focused. I use interventions from a variety of modalities, but I strive to remain present within the therapeutic relationship and follow where the client's needs take us.
As a marriage and family therapist, I view and treat mental health concerns through the lens of relationships. I work primarily with children, teens, and family groups (including couples). Individual adult clients can expect to dive deep into attachment history and to explore the impact their attachments have made on their lives.
