Life can be a challenge, but also rewarding. I love coming alongside children, adolescents, adults, and families to help them find joy and peace. I began my journey in mental health working with women and college students then transitioned into K-12 counseling. For over 20 years, I have provided unconditional support, helping each client navigate life's trials, including divorce, anxiety, grief, depression, anger, self-esteem, school interventions, difficult behaviors, and more. As a working mother of four and wife myself, I understand the challenges of raising children and maintaining a work/life balance. I am here to help!
Trained in CBT, CCPT, Unified Protocol, EMDR, and SPACE, I believe every maladaptive behavior once served a purpose, and I help clients explore behaviors that serve them better in the present. In SPACE, a parent-based program for anxiety and OCD, I teach parents skills to change their responses, which reduces a child’s symptoms and builds grit.
In support of each client's unique story, I am sure to meet them with respect and compassion. I use my training in child development and my experience helping overwhelmed adults, parents, and struggling children to find solutions that lead to hope, healing and freedom.
