I am an anxiety and OCD specialist. I believe that people can learn to move on from their anxiety or OCD without the need for long-term treatment. I generally work with my clients for long sessions in a short period of time instead of one hour a week for many months. Most people find that within that short window they have the skills needed to understand and work with their anxiety independently.

Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, caught in anxious thought loops, repeated relationship struggles, or patterns they can’t seem to break. You may find yourself overthinking, second-guessing, or reacting in ways that don’t match who you want to be. I help individuals and couples understand these patterns at their roots and build practical strategies to change them. My approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on real progress, not endless processing. We focus on helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and tools you can actually use.

Life hasn’t gone the way you thought it would. You might be dealing with grief, chronic illness, or a major life transition that’s left you questioning who you are. On the outside, you seem “fine” – but internally, you feel lost, disconnected, or exhausted from holding it all together. You want to feel more like yourself again – more grounded, more confident, and more at peace – but you’re not sure how to get there.

Are relationship dynamics, family tension, or the patterns you keep repeating leaving you feeling stuck and disconnected from who you truly are? Whether the struggle is personal, between partners, or felt across the whole family, it rarely exists in isolation — and neither should the solution. You don't have to untangle it alone, and you don't have to choose between getting help as an individual or getting help together. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in couples and family therapy, helping you gain deeper insight into your patterns and become more of who you truly are.

With over 25 years of professional experience and years of private practice, I left the therapy world when I discovered the opportunity to advocate for individuals and families. As a Therapeutic Consultant, my goal was to help people find the best fit for interventions for mental and physical health care. I soon discovered that the best fit can't happen without good diagnostics first. A team approach is the heart of our program, uncovering what is truly wrong, or right, about your body, mind, spirit and lifestyle. Our concierge diagnostic evaluation program provides one-on-one diagnostics and world-class care and support.

My goal is to support you on your journey toward mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through counseling, clients can explore their current life situation and begin to deal effectively with the circumstances they are facing in a safe environment. Counseling can also provide tools for change, but even more, it can be a springboard to begin identifying some of the factors that have led to the current situation.

Hoarding Therapists
What is the most effective treatment for hoarding?
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) has been well-studied in the treatment of hoarding. This type of therapy includes changing beliefs surrounding possessions, as well as learning how to discard items and reduce acquisitions. The hoarder may also gain much-needed organizational skills. Another useful therapy may be compassion-focused therapy, which can address emotion regulation and negative self-perception.

How long does therapy for hoarding take?
Although treatment can vary, most people demonstrate improvement after 23 sessions, with some showing improvement after just a few sessions. Researchers have developed a 26-session cognitive behavioral program. People who hoard may need “maintenance” sessions over the years if the problem arises repeatedly.

Are there medications for hoarding?
The more commonly-prescribed medications for hoarding are including antidepressants, including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). This can include drugs such as venlafaxine and paroxetine. And because hoarding disorder is related to obsessive-compulsive disorder, medications for OCD, such as clomipramine, may be effective for hoarding as well.

Can hoarding come back after treatment?
Hoarding is a chronic disorder and it can last throughout an individual’s lifetime. Regularly checking in with a psychotherapist can help manage symptoms long-term. A good therapist will help the person learn needed skills including decision-making, organization, and stress reduction. The patient will gain a better perspective and the need to cling to useless items will lessen.
