Everyone experiences stress, depression, or emotions associated with a traumatic event at some point in life. My passion is helping people manage their emotions and support them in stressful times. I believe in the therapeutic process and I practice a style of openness, caring and acceptance for my clients. It is my goal to provide support to my clients as they improve their lives and learn how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. I utilize emotional transformation therapy and other forms of therapy which can provide relief from anxiety, depression, and physical symptoms associated with such emotions.
I have experience working with clients in crisis, both adults and children. I have worked as a school counselor and collaborated closely with parents and teachers to provide behavioral supports for students. I am also a parent of a special needs son and I am very knowledgeable regarding special education.
In my private practice, I strive to create a welcoming environment in order for clients to work through any problems or situations that life has. I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ETT (Emotional Transformation Therapy). I would love to have the experience of introducing both types of therapies to new clients.
