With training in couple, marriage and
family
therapy, I work from a systemic perspective with all clients, meaning that I will gather information about all areas of an individual’s life to assess the effect that each area may have on the others.
As someone who has struggled with mental health and received support from countless loving individuals over the years, it is always my mission to extend the same level of compassion and care to my clients. I believe that therapy provides a space for individuals, couples, and
families
to share their experiences and pain, and find ways to transform darkness into light. My clinical interests include — but are not limited to– working with adolescents and adults in marginalized populations, such as ethnic/racial minorities, LGBTQIA+ identified, low socioeconomic status, and individuals with legal system involvement.
