My experience is in working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. Working on overcoming those experiences has also led me to helping people overcome anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, which can be common after trauma. It's important to me to be a completely safe, non-judgmental, and affirming counselor who can handle hefty topics if needed and help you discover your happiest, most fulfilled self.
As the child of a Vietnam Veteran with PTSD, I have experienced the long lasting effects of trauma and understand the impact on our heroes and their family members; including First Responders. Untreated trauma, not just Military related, can lead to depression, anxiety, addictions, unhealthy relationships, suicidal thoughts/behaviors, and so much more. Sometimes it can feel like you are alone in the darkness. I will walk with you in the darkness until you find the light again.
An ideal client is one who is at an age that she or he is ready to settle the haunting torments of childhood abuse. She or he has enough memories to begin to work with and has enough faith to believe healing is possible. She needs a companion, a counselor, on the path to healing. She needs someone who is caring and will allow her or his to move at her or his own pace—who is motivational but not pushy. The client’s goal is to normalize important relationships in his or her current life. The client also wants peace with his or her past, as well as a balanced life in the future.

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, MS, NCC, LCDC
I started Glory to Glory Counseling, LLC to help individuals get to the root of their life struggles in order to maximize their life's potential. Regardless of the issues you are struggling with, I want the opportunity to try to help you, and if I cannot help, then I'd love to refer you to someone who hopefully can. Struggles are hard, and the weight can sometimes be too much for one person to bear. Why walk through them alone if you don't have to? I believe that true strength is demonstrated when we can boldly face our struggles and then use them for our gains.
I have had the pleasure of spending my life living, working, and mentoring in multi-cultural environments in the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia. I received my bachelor's and master of Arts degrees from Dallas Baptist University.
