Are relationship dynamics, family tension, or the patterns you keep repeating leaving you feeling stuck and disconnected from who you truly are? Whether the struggle is personal, between partners, or felt across the whole family, it rarely exists in isolation — and neither should the solution. You don't have to untangle it alone, and you don't have to choose between getting help as an individual or getting help together. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in couples and family therapy, helping you gain deeper insight into your patterns and become more of who you truly are.

Whether you're navigating mood swings, negative self-talk, disrupted sleep, or relationship strain, sometimes all it takes is one honest outside perspective to start making sense of it. You don't have to carry this alone — and you don't have to have it all figured out before you reach out.

If you're like most of us, life can get pretty busy, complicated, even overwhelming at times, and we push aside those big questions that trouble us - who am I? how do I really want to live my life? what is important to me? what's next? These questions don't go away and often resurface - whether we want them to or not - during times of loss, death, and transition, when everything familiar has been stripped away, and we are left feeling frustrated, uncertain, and alone. It is exactly during these times that therapy can help.

In our sessions, I will provide a safe, welcoming space where we can work together to uncover the strength and victories hidden within your pain. My deepest passion is supporting you as you grow, learn to stand up for yourself, find inner peace, and discover the joy of being in your own company.

I offer in-person and virtual sessions in my cozy office and would love to help you release what no longer serves you.
I see therapy as a collaborative process between client and therapist, each with different areas of expertise. I believe the goal of therapy is not only to solve "problems" but to help clients grow and find balance and wholeness. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) , a method of therapy that numerous studies have shown to be effective in the treatment of trauma, as well as Trauma-focused CBT, Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and well versed in Internal Family Systems, DBT and CBT.

You've worked hard to keep it all together. You stay busy, keep your walls up, and tell yourself you're fine—but underneath, it can feel lonely. Relationships may feel confusing. Letting people in is scary, yet keeping them at a distance leaves you disconnected. Avoiding difficult emotions may have helped you survive, but now it can leave you feeling stuck, burned out, and wondering why genuine intimacy feels out of reach. Deep down, you want to feel seen, safe, and connected—without the constant fear of being too much or not enough.

Do you often feel overwhelmed, scattered, or like you’re constantly fighting an uphill battle to keep up with daily life? Through education and support, you can move from feeling powerless to feeling empowered and capable.

I offer therapy in person off of Mopac and Far West, or virtually for anyone in Texas.
I help those who feel stuck in patterns of being or behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives. They may notice shifts in moods or irritability; difficulty with relationships, self-efficacy, or confidence; changes in use of alcohol or substances; and struggle with their ability to change or thrive. Often these effects are the result of strategies which have had utility, or were necessary, at one time for survival, safety, or stability, although are no longer serving that purpose, and instead have become obstacles.

Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma & Patterns That Keep Repeating. If you’ve tried therapy and still feel stuck in the same patterns, you’re not alone—and it doesn’t mean therapy can’t work for you. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, caught in repeating relationship dynamics, or relying on coping strategies that aren’t working. Many people understand why they struggle, but insight alone doesn’t always create change. You can know your patterns—and still feel stuck in them. My goal is to help you move beyond patterns that haven’t changed, even after doing the work, toward change that holds without constant effort.

I am completely honored to have the opportunity to work with people as they navigate some of life’s most challenging experiences and seek healing in their lives. I often see folks who are working through transitions, experiencing depression and anxiety, are coping with the impact of trauma, or are generally feeling stuck and want to grow. My work with clients is grounded in a relational and multicultural approach that incorporates trauma-informed principles, Buddhist psychology, as well as mindfulness and neurobiology.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
