I’m a trauma therapist with over 12 years of experience working with adults and couples. I’ve been married for over two decades to a retired Army combat veteran, an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of safe, supportive relationships. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens best in connection - and that relationships can be both the source of pain and the pathway to repair. I specialize in trauma therapy, helping individuals and couples understand how trauma, depression, and emotional pain shape their relationships and sense of safety.

I see you! I know how heavy it can feel to try and carry it all on your own. Life has its seasons, and those transitions, the highs and the lows, can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you're carrying pain or trauma from your past. Even with all the effort you're putting into moving forward, you might still feel stuck, like the storm just won’t pass. But here’s the truth: there is hope, and there is healing. Are sleepless nights filled with racing thoughts keeping you up? Have you been feeling down for a while—maybe disconnected, sad, or just not like yourself? If so, you’re not alone. Reaching out for support doesn’t

Does anybody have a map, Anybody happen to know how the h--- to do this? Are lines from my favorite musical, Dear Evan Hansen. I resonate with them as a mom of young adults and a retired military wife. So often "I'm flying blind and making this up as I go." We need two things when we're overwhelmed--a plan and accountability. In other words, another person who has some idea how to find where I left myself and then how to help me move again in maybe a different direction. With less shame, less pretending, less judgment. More breathing room.

Let’s face it… life can be extremely difficult. Our relationships challenge us, our family overwhelm us, and our peace of mind escapes us. Often times, we do what we can to navigate ourselves through these struggles, but sometimes we just need someone to help us along.

It can be overwhelming to scroll through profile after profile looking for someone who feels like the right fit — someone who’s willing to slow down, meet you where you are, and take the time to get a clear sense of what you want and need in your life. In the nearly 25 years that I’ve been supporting children, adults, and families, I’ve learned how powerful it is to feel seen and met with compassion. I believe in your potential to design the life you want for yourself, and I’ll tailor our work to your unique needs, goals, and personality, always with deep respect for who you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re heading.
